Real-time Traffic Detection
Be aware of those around you. FX is designed with Multi-link technologies for greater range and integrity.
Point-to-Point. (ADS-B, PilotAware)
ADS-B Receive plus PilotAware Transmit and Receive allows FX to detect a large majority of GA aircraft directly from the aircraft with no ground stations or Cellular Required.
ATOM-Uplink. (FLARM, FANET+, Mode-S/3D)
PilotAware ATOM can rebroadcast real-time locally received FLARM & FANET+ traffic received directly by the station, with incredibly low latency. Additional MLAT data is also uplinked to show Mode-S transponders using PilotAware Mode-S/3D.
SkyGRID- Rebroadcast. (ADS-B, PilotAware)
High flying PilotAware devices, will rebroadcast, low level traffic that may be obscured by terrain helping improve the traffic picture for airfields, pilots and ATC Flight Information Displays.
iGRID- Cellular. (Universal)
Connecting FX to a mobile hotspot, will enable secure access traffic data from the PilotAware servers. When flying in areas of cellular coverage, expect 60KM of additional, high quality realtime traffic to add to the links already mentioned. It will also show weather RADAR dimensioned for the PilotAware Virtual RADA Screen.
Competition Rules
This competition is open exclusively to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 years or older. Participants will be automatically assigned ticket number(s) upon placing a successful order and will receive a confirmation email. In the event that a skill-based question is posed during this competition, entrants must provide the correct response to qualify for participation in the live draw. Incorrect entries will not be acknowledged or included in the live draw.
The live draw will be conducted on our Facebook page, utilising Google’s random number generator to select the winning ticket number from among all entrants.
